Bull floats have a long handle that you push or pull across large areas of concrete. They are typically 8 inches in width and 3 to 10 feet in length. Bull floats allow the operator to reach far out onto a slab without having to get on the concrete with knee boards. This is because these floats consist of a long handle attached to a wood, resin, aluminum or magnesium float. The handle can measure anywhere from 4 feet to 16 feet long.
